This dialog presents options that are specific to each cube dimension.
The dialog is divided in 5 distinct sections, choose the section you would like to obtain more information:
- Dimension: Lets the user choose which dimension you want to change. Simply choose the dimension desired to see its available options.
- Elements : You will choose which elements from a dimension will show in the cube view.
- Properties: With MS Analysis it's possible to store dimension member attributes together with the dimension member name. With this option, you can choose which attributes to show whenever is applicable.
- Values: When you list dimensions as list or single value as opposed to hierarchies, it's possible to list them together with several formulas. This options will let you choose them.
- Calculated fields: You can create new cube fields and used them in your analysis.
- Default values: You can choose your default value for each dimension of the cube. This is handy when you want to distribute a cube view or a portfolio to many users, and each users want to see distinct values. (You can enforce values using MS Analysis Services cube roles).
- Levels to show: When showing dimensions with multiple levels, you can choose to show only specific levels and not all levels.
