Show hide elements

By default, all cube values that comply with your query will be shown in the data area. Sometimes you will want to hide artificially some dimension elements.
You can use element lists using dimension options, or simply you can choose to hide certain elements from the results matrix. Right click in the data area and choose option Show/Hide elements. The following dialog will be shown:

• You can select all or some of the check boxes if you wish to hide the grid element.
• All: to select all elements.
• None: to deselect all elements.
• OK: closes this dialog and hides the elements.
• Cancel: closes this dialog and no element is hidden.

If you choose dimension elements, like [Customers].[America], this element will continue to be hidden. independently of the current view. To show it again, put this dimension in the results grid and call this dialog again.

If showing anidated dimension, like "Americas / 1996", then only this combination will be hidden from the grid. in the case above, all fields having America / something will be hidden.

Depending on where you right click on the data area, different elements will be shown in this dialog.
