Views & portfolios preferences

This section of the preferences dialog let's you specify the saving views and portfolios options.

• Options for saving views and reading in views and portfolios: These options will let you control wether to write several cube options when saving views and portfolios, and if they are saved, wether to read and use them. If you don't want to read them, actual cube options will be used. For example, you can print a portfolio with a different template than the actual one.
  • Cube layout (header, data, etc.) : Control which cube areas to show and their layout..
  • Grid options (font, colors, etc.): Grid options are all fonts, colors and formats applied to the cube view.
  • Page setup information: It saves the templates used to print, page orientation, comments and logos.
  • Global preferences : Values set in the preferences dialog.
• Portfolio options
  • Use portfolio mode: Setting this option, will hide some toolbar buttons when showing the portfolio.
  • Enable portfolio timer: Set this box if you want the portfolio's pages to advance automatically as in a slide show.
  • Timer time (seconds): Specifies the number of second between each portfolio page movement.
• User defined cube default values
  • Use default values when connecting to cubes: Use the dimension options screen to define default values for your cube dimensions. Select this checkbox if you want to use this default values or not.

Use the dialog buttons to:

• Save: If you press this button, all current values will be save as default.
• OK: Closes this dialog continuing to work with the current preferences.
• Cancel: Closes this dialog, but the dialog settings are not kept.
