Export cube view
This option takes the cube view
contents and exports it to a HTML file, RTF, Adobe PDF or CSV file. With
exception of the CSV file, the
format in which the files are created depends on the HTML Template chosen.
In newer versions, only the displayed cube values are
brought from the database, so you will be asked:

Choose from:
-
Print only the current screen: Only
data shown in the control screen is printed.
-
Print all the cells in the query: All
data from the cube query is brought to the control and printed. (It may
take a while).
There are some issues that
you must take into account when exporting this files:
- The dimension format dialog options and the
chart format are applied in the export.
- These files are 'fixed', which means that you can't make anymore analysis on them.
- The HTML file can be viewed from any Internet browser. For the chart is created a .jpg file with the same name as the HTML file being created.
- The RTF (Rich Text Format) file can be viewed from any word processor that handles RTF files like Microsoft's Word. The chart is created in a separate .jpg file with the same name as the exported file.
- The Extended RTF file is a common RTF file, but with the chart embedded into it, so there are not separate files.
- The CSV (Comma separated value) file contains only the grid's values.
Below is an example of an exported PDF file:
