8. Optional modification of generated SQL.

When you get to this screen, you have finished to define your database query used to bring the data that will create the cube. This is a good moment to save your cube definition too.

You can press any of this section's buttons to:

  • Questions: The prompt dialog will appear and will let you answer to all the question defined in the User's prompt creation section.
  • See data : Press this button if you want to see a screen with your database data. See section See data for more information.
  • Generate: This options generates the defined SQL query. Use the Sql button if you wish to modify this instruction. The Modify SQL  dialog is shown.
  • Sql: Use this button to modify your SQL instruction manually. You can use the Generate button if you wish to generate the original SQL again.
  • Save: This is a good moment to save your cube definition. Press this button to save your work. It's like pressing the menu option File -> Save.

If you didn't choose any buttons and are prompts defined, the questions will be made the moment you want to proceed to this assistant's next section.

If your SQL query can execute correctly, you can proceed to section 9. Creation of the cube Measures dimension by pressing the Next button.

The Back button will take you to section 7. Field selection to sort the query.
